Athreya Homes is a trusted name in residential construction with over 8 years of experience. Athreya’s completed projects include independent villas, twin houses, duplex housing colonies and apartments. Athreya’s developments are sprinkled across south Chennai, especially, Madipakkam, Keelkattalai, Kovilambakkam, Sembakkam, Madambakkam, and Vengaivasal suburbs.

It all started when two enthusiastic friends who wanted to do something different in their lives. With humble beginnings in 2004, Athreya today a well respected builder in South Chennai. With over 100K square feet of residential space under different stages of development, Athreya is now poised to become one of the leading players in the industry.

Management Team

Venkatesh Krishnachari (VK) – VK is a seasoned professional with immense international experience in many industries. In his last role, he oversaw finance function of a $100 million US corporation. In his 15 years of experience VK had worked in many countries including USA, UK, Dubai, Malaysia and India and in many industries. Apartment from his experience in the construction industry, he has indepth understanding of Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing industries. VK, a Chartered Accountant by qualification, is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. VK is also a qualified Cost Accountant (ICWAI, India), Company Secretary (ICSI, India) and a Management Accountant (IMA, USA).  VK directs Athreya’s strategy and marketing. Sridhar Jagadeesan - Sridhar has over 10 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. Before jumping into entrepreneurship Sridhar worked in large corporates such as TVS Group and East Coast Constructions Limited. Sridhar, a commerce graduate, holds an MBA from a premier management school in Chennai. Sridhar directs Athreya’s operations, delivery and business development.
